Taking photographs gives me a new perspective on the world: Its humor, beauty, tragedy, and joy. If I can forget myself even for a few minutes behind the lens of my camera I am happy. Photography has taught me so much about life and given me an escape from daily frustrations and trials. It is the one outlet where I can forget myself and make time stop, if only for a second.
